Tarasow Films producer Joon Tervakari took part in the Match Me! program at the Locarno Film Festival’s Pro section, an intensive networking platform bringing together emerging producers from around the globe.
This year’s edition gathered 37 producers from across the world, who met under the blazing August sun to exchange ideas, forge collaborations, and present new projects. Joon attended with two upcoming Tarasow Films titles: the arthouse drama Jone Boy and the artistic documentary God Is Tango. Over the course of the event, he connected with more than 70 industry professionals, from leading experts to international peers, building valuable bridges for future collaboration.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Locarno’s picturesque village and the spectacular Piazza Grande screenings, the festival once again showcased why it is considered one of the highlights of the international film calendar.
And while the meetings were fruitful and the atmosphere unforgettable, let’s just say the heat made even the parties a full workout.
